The ball must have been a bit fogged up last week
No worries thelostclimber.
Here's the forecast SE swell..
"Thursday 20th January
SE groundswell around an inconsistent 2-3ft at Clifton. Light N/NE winds, tending NE during the day and freshening."
Seeing as Wedge is more exposed than Clifton to SE swells, this fits in with your reports.
Good to hear you scored.
Now all we need is pics or it didn't happen :p

My mate confirmed exactly the above this morning Craig.
I have just had a 2 hour session almost to myself in 3 - 4 ft Wedge.

So how was the wedge handling the 3-4ft swell? It doesn't handle much bigger than this size does it?
wedge will pretty much handle big swells, its just that when it gets really big the winds tend be south or south west which is onshore and the points are working.
Even better conditions today, for those that got out of the car park, as it wasnt breaking in the usual spot.
I suspect Clifton, must have some banks as there were no crowds again, just the guys that live close by.
Sorry no photos, I just surf.
Thanks to the Tassie forecasters who missed the SE swell getting into the South Arm beaches today.
I have just had a 2 hour session almost to myself in 3 - 4 ft Wedge. Normally when this place is on there are at least 100 blokes in the water.
Can you please also not predict the next time the Points will be on, so just those that look everyday can get get some nice uncrowded waves
