I took this photo at the north shore of Oahu in September of 2005. The waves were near 40 feet that day, which you can gather from the guy standing near the shore there. Watching the pro's take those on was one of the most memorable experiences I had while living on Hawaii. I believe the waves they had from that storm were some of the biggest ever recorded on Hawaii.
