Tripod that will last (longer then 12 months) filming at the beach in salt air that costs under 1k

Hi Guys

I am having trouble finding durable tripods for surf photography. Its not so much the strength but materials. I am currently using a Velbon Geo E540 (https://www.ephotozine.com/article/velbon-geo-e540--review-13198) after much reading it was popular amongst a few crew (combined with a DV701 Fluid Head). All of the powder coating has fallen off, the aluminium is pitted everywhere and anything that is steel or stainless steel has rusted. Each session I rinse and dry it, and use Inox steel parts.

I am trying to avoid the totally Anodised Aluminium tripods as I feel over 1k on a tripod is excessive. Do I need to fork out, or has someone else had better success? (PS the carbon legs and camlocks still work fine).

Happy Snappy

primarily for video but has done we well for the last few years just the same with anything that moves and use in sand and salt oil if needs to oil i wd40 all of the joints after use quick and easy gets rid of any grit, may be a cheaper then what your used to but has yielded good results for me footage taken

mostly at 400mm to 500m still good stability

Took me a while to crack on to that one welly, I don't know if you can use a tripod meant for a rifle on a camera.
