Victoria Forecast (issued Friday 22nd November)
Best Days: No good days
Recap
A low moving south-west across Tasmania tracked away quicker than forecast on Wednesday and this resulted in winds swinging a full 180 degrees during the day as some fun SE swell built across the Surf Coast. A new SW swell was also in the mix offering fun 4ft waves across the Mornington Peninsula early.
This morning a mix of SE and SW swell are both easing from 2-3ft on the Surf Coast and 3-4ft on the Mornington Peninsula under morning NW winds. Winds have just swung onshore and will remain so into this evening but without much strength.
This weekend (Nov 23-24)
Unfortunately winds will be onshore tomorrow (outside chance of early W'ly winds around Torquay), and Sunday leaving no options for a clean wave.
Next week (Nov 25 onwards)
Heading into next week the S'ly swell will ease abruptly as the fetch is cut off with no significant groundswell due through the entire week. E'ly winds will dominate the period as well favouring beaches east of Melbourne, but again it'll be slim pickings.
