After an incredible late autumn / early winter run of swell the east coast has ground to a halt.

Yesterday we ran photos of the huge swell that hit WA two weeks ago. In the accompanying text I mentioned how the swell dropped dramatically through the afternoon, the implication being that, due to it's short-lived nature, it was a disappointing swell. Well, these shots are from that afternoon. As you can see there was no need for disappointment. All photos by Russell Ord.
