It was only so many years ago that a troupe of pros surfers were violently evicted from the west coast of South Australia. For many years following that incident sponsor stickers and cameras were guaranteed to raise the ire of locals. The other surfers are Sam Jervis, owner of EP Surfshop in Port Lincoln, and local ripper, Pete Tomlinson.

It is an unfortunate fact that the majority of Australian surfers live on the eastern seaboard yet it's the south and west coasts of our country that get the best waves.
