Novel. An invisible board 5'11" - for the ghost who surfs . . . only for the spirited types!

Hi there, not relevant to this topic, but I have a question perhaps only an expert can answer. Why are nearly all Towboards for huge waves,a swallowtail, almost never a pin? And nearly all paddle in Guns for huge waves, nearly always a pin, almost never a swallow?

Spooking from Goodtime Haunt _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
About your obsolete Goodtime ( _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _)
1970's Goodtime single fins rarely went under 6'4".
1980-1984 Goodtime Single Fin + Boxes were starting to nudge 6ft long.
Most likely a post apocalyptic 1984 D-gen slapstick.
I'm guessing Twin Fin 5'10" - 6'2"... Could this be your 5'11" Goodtime Lanceflanders?
That's all I got... you're in good hands with Swellnetonian Boardriding Crew.

I 'd think twice before sharing your little Goodtime...One smile & Swellnet girls run a mile.
If you're too shy to show her off.. you can easily play match maker over at 'Surf Research'.

@Ray

I'd say a lot of it has to do with tow boards having less volume so a swallow keeps some width in the tail.

Sharkman, would be able to answer this one?

@ray....A pintail on a tow board has too much curve behind the side fin , which makes the board too loose,
Having a SWT means there is less curve more drive and you can do longer Bottom turns.

The SWT also has 2x Drag points ,which means they also grip better than a single pintail drag point!

Makes perfect sense Sharkman when controlling speed.
re: Racing with a Twin hull (Swallow if you like)The Jockey aquaplanes for speed control.

Also makes sense that complete opposite rings true for paddle power.
Seamless line from nosepoint to pintail. re: Rowing hulls streamline max paddle speed.
