Southern Tasmania Forecast (issued Friday 22nd November)
Best Days: Sunday onwards in protected spots
Recap
Small onshore 1-2ft waves continued through yesterday while today saw similar conditions with E/SE winds.
We're looking at quite an interesting weekend with the low that's currently sitting over the state expected to move slowly east, aiming gale-force S/SE winds (pictured right) into us kicking up a large stormy windswell for Sunday.
Unfortunately winds will be strong from the S/SE leaving only super protected locations with clean conditions.
Next week (Nov 25 onwards)
The low will move off further to the east next week and this will result in a slow drop in SE tending E/SE swell. Winds will remain less than ideal and from the east though, with offshore N'ly winds Wednesday with no real swell leftover.
Longer term there's nothing too major on the cards but we'll review this again Monday.
