Wave bouy Information

Hey,

Just trying to understand wave bouy information that gives Primary swell secondary swell and Tertiary swell. What does that mean?

I understand Size of wave and direction of swell.

Also wave frequency? Does that mean the closer the period of wave period the better the swell.
