Northern NSW and South East Queensland Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 13th December)
Best Days: Every morning besides Tuesday for small clean waves
Recap
Small levels of S/SE and E'ly swell have offered inconsistent 1ft to occasionally 2ft waves across the Goldy and North Coast the last two days, with N'ly winds yesterday and lighter more variable winds from the SW today.
This weekend onwards (Dec 14 onwards)
Unfortunately there's nothing major on the cards for the coming period, with background levels of E'ly trade-swell expected to keep 1-2ft waves hitting open beaches right through until late next week.
Light morning winds will create clean conditions for the most part besides Tuesday with a less favourable S/SE breeze is expected.
Longer term we may see building levels of E/NE trade-swell from Christmas Day onwards, but we'll provide an update on this on Monday.
