South Australian Forecast (issued Friday 17th January)
Best Days: Saturday afternoon on the Mid, Sunday on the Mid for beginners
Recap
Tiny waves continued across the Mid Coast yesterday with light variable winds, while the South Coast was a touch bigger and better out at Waits and Parsons.
A small spike in SW groundswell has kept small waves hitting the South Coast this morning and tiny 0.5ft waves on the Mid as hot N'ly winds continued, but a cool S/SW change is now flirting with the South Coast.
This weekend onwards (Jan 18 onwards)
The swell will ease into Sunday along the Mid Coast, but conditions will still be ideal for beginners. The South Coast will remain poor with a moderate mix of S/SE windswell and SW groundswell.
Unfortunately the outlook for next week is poor down South with S/SE winds, small levels of weak S/SE windswell and no decent groundswell expected across the Mid Coast.
Longer term, there's nothing too major on the cards with small swells and S/SE winds looking to persist.
