South Australian Forecast (issued Wednesday 22nd January)
Best Days: Thursday morning, Sunday, Monday morning
Recap
Tiny clean waves on the Mid and small junky onshore surf down South has padded out the last couple of days, and there's plenty more to come.
This week (Jan 23 -24)
Tomorrow morning should see fun waves on the South Coast with an E/NE breeze and small peaky mix of swells. An onshore change pushing in Friday looks to arrive around dawn so it's not worth a drive from Adelaide, but if you're in the area keep an eye on the local winds for the first hour or two of light.
This weekend onwards (Jan 25 onwards)
The weekend will start off poor with fresh SE winds on the South Coast and a small mix of SW groundswell and S/SE windswell, while Sunday looks better as a small SW groundswell peaks under NE winds. The Mid Coast should offer tiny clean waves all weekend for beginners.
Winds will remain favourable into Monday but unfortunately there's not much size on the cards, with Waits and Parsons expected to offer small, clean waves.
A new S/SW groundswell is due on Wednesday but again winds will go onshore and be fresh from the S/SE.
Longer term there's still nothing major on the cards so make the most of the small windows of opportunity over the coming period.
