Major WA upgrade booked in to happen in a few weeks time, now that we can finally travel interstate. Just waiting on a few more parts to arrive from our OS supplier.

Hi Ben, just curious, are there no specific tech people you can use who are based in Perth/Sou’west to do this work or is it simply cheaper to fly in & fly out?

Fair enough then, costs must be ridiculous if there is no local option for maintenance on the equipment.

haha nah mate everything is subscription based these days and I hate it! Not saying swellnet doesn't deserve it but it's just too overwhelming when sorting out finances.

Depends on the amount of work required. Small jobs are easier/cheaper to get someone local, but this is a big job requiring a few people.

appreciate the offer Seeds, really do, situation is going backwards for me lately but I'm not a charity case yet! You're right in that it's bugger all though, I'll snap it up when I'm in a better position, got a bit of a possibly unbased phobia of subscription services after watching my savings getting slowly chewed up haha
