Palm beach, Lacey’s lane, Currumbin have not been working for days

Yep, you're right. We suffered an interference with our data link on Thursday - those locations are hooked up via microwave links (rather than each having its own land line). And the reason for the interference was a first for me - a new highrise building has gone up in the middle of the link! (the connection is from one end of Palm Beach to the other - it's one of those new buildings around 19th I think).

As such, the bandwidth through-put of the line has dropped significantly (from 200Mbps down to 5Mbps), and I've had to prioritise services down to one cam while we implement a fix - I chose Currumbin Alley.

We've immediately booked in a new fixed-line service to fill the gap, but NBN - who are normally pretty responsive on the Gold Coast - can't get on site until Thursday to switch it on.

Apologies for the inconvenience, this was a completely unforseen problem - we haven't had any need to monitor the progress of high rise buildings across our network, but obviously this is a matter we'll have to address from now on.

Hey, any idea when Bondi surf cam will be back online? It’s been offline over a month and seems there’s no other cam (eg, a South Bondi cam) to rely on.

Offline for over a month? I don't think I've seen it working over the last 5 years!

Bondi,Narrabeen very poor effort,seems dishonest aswell.If you not going to stream these cameras take them off the surfcam list.You have used up all the excuses,renovations etc.How about some honesty.
