Fairhaven Surf Cam footage issue
Hi John, we are looking into this to see what the problem might be.
John - we're having some intermittent network issues with the Fairhaven cams that affects the replay recording. We are aware of the issue but don't have a timeframe yet on the issue being fixed.
Thanks for getting back to me Jono. Hopefully you can find a fix. I live not far from it if you need any help.

The issues at Fairhaven are related to its internet connection (Starlink) which is less reliable for streaming than standard NBN issues.
However, the camera is about to be relocated in the next few weeks because of a major renovation project, so we won't be able to fix the issue until then.

Hey the Fairhaven surf cam doesn’t replay properly. It seems to freeze and then misses seconds. And then keeps playing.
Example. Sunday 5 Jan 2024 on the 3:30pm footage. At 9:55 into the replay it just freezes. And then about 10 seconds later it resumes. This happens quite a bit.
What is causing this? Slow internet from the camera?
My internet seems fine. And when I go back to that exact time/footage the same thing happens. So the footage is not uploading correctly?
