Looks like this cam has bird crap on it, the camera is focusing on it instead of the swell.
Needs another clean please! :)

The camera is actually indoors, so the muck is on the outside window of the surf club tower. We'll try to get it cleaned ASAP.

Another year and a bit down the track, and I think the surf club windows could do with another scrub! I wonder if they'd think it was strange if I went down with my bucket of soapy water...?

Yeah always hard under these prolonged onshore patterns. If we clean it today it'll be dirty again tomorrow so we try to leave it until there's a break in the pattern.

We will be relocating the camera to the roof in the next few months, along with a custom built cleaning system that should ensure the vision is almost perfect no matter what the weather is. This will be deployed at all Vicco locations and a few others in SA too (that's where we have the most problems with salt spray). Stay tuned!
