Boards Stolen From South Coast

Richard Lindfield, from Perfect Wave Travel, had an expensive surf check on the afternoon of Sunday the 4th of July.

After leaving his car parked at Caves Beach, on the South Coast of NSW, and darting down the track to check the waves he and his partner came back to find a rock through the window and three boards, two wetsuits, all their clothes, shoes and iPods gone. Totally cleaned out!

One of the boards is very distinctive which may help it get tracked down. See below for full descriptions and photos. If anyone has seen any of the boards, or knows anything about the crime please contact Swellnet or call Richard on 0449 683 256

  • Mark Richards "Flying Fish" - 6'4" distinctive white and grey camouflage spray on deck and a white Quiksilver tail-pad.
  • Tribal, NZ "Maggot" fun-board - 5'10 with black DK tail-pad. Written "for Ru" on the bottom.
  • Chaos, standard thruster - 6'4" with green, red and yellow Gorilla Grip tail-pad. Written "for Ru" on the bottom.

Farkin c*nts! I had a similar situation one time, surfing Waits beachie only to come back to a rock through the window and nothing left. Hope you can track down some of the gear, or even the pricks that did it. Goodluck.

Bastards. good luck in tracking the gear down. You used to be able to leave your boards on the roof and check the surf. What is the world turning into?
