Tomorrow is the 11th February, and as any self-respecting surf groupie knows that is Kelly Slater's birthday. Yep, 39 years ago in a Cocoa Beach manger our little Lord Kelly lay down his sweet head.

To celebrate Kelly's birthday (and his impending middle-age) we're giving away six calendars with pics of Kelly on every month. To win one tell us what you would give Kelly as a birthday present.

The guy has everything that all of us mere mortals could dream of. So I reckon something that he doesn't want is in order for the champ this year.
I reckon a whole year locked up at bells beach, the only place he is allowed to surf for a whole year would be Bells.

Hey Stu, appears to be a pretty lacklustre response to your contest. Do all the respondents thus far get a calendar?

I actually didn't want one, I was just being a smart-arse.

Maybe you could sweeten the deal and throw in a boardies/T-shirt combo? Or a Go-Pro? Or maybe 2 weeks in the Mentawais? Or maybe a copy of 'Saturday Night Beaver' and 'Shaving Ryans Privates'?

I`m sure a little extra icing on the cake would pique the interests of the masses.

Yeah, it's looking like anyone whose entered so far wins and there's still one more to give away. C'mon people, for a couple of words you get a calendar for free. Take it and hock it on eBay.

It's all relative I guess...relative to the cost of the prize. The last comp we gave away a $500 camera and had 160 entries. We'll run another one later this week with better (read: more expensive) prizes.
