That drop-in around the 2 min mark aint nothing to be proud of though.
That was a harsh one. Hard to believe he didn't know the fella was inside him.
Since the lifting of the reef , is Nias a different wave now ? hollower and with a steeper take off but a bit shorter ride ?
just me or does it suffer from some ripple or chatter on the face at different times of the tide......always seemed to looked absolutely flawless in the older footage .
That drop in fucker didn't even look to the inside on that wave....bad burning.
Was a good drop in....such is narcissism. After 40 years of surfing I can't face the prospect of being dropped in on any longer....so I surf crappy waves by myself.... but I still have the memories!!
Drop in more than likely the Brazilian contingent - they arrive in Nias on Mass and all have problems looking left when taking off - funny to see 4 of them drop in on each other though. Seen Rahel and Justin order guys out of the lineup for less
Great barrel the drop in got. What was that guy thinking the one who took the drop and just looked at the wall without pulling into the barrel it closed out. WASTE. Nias is on my bucket list, It is a wave too good to miss in a surfers lifetime. Will be there next season.
