wow, we are just an amazing species. just read interview with shane and bless him, does this not as a glory ego thing but as one experiencing being a human that shows that life is to co create "miracle" moments. Thanks to life, the climate, the ocean, the board, the equipment, the people, including photographer, and thanks to allow all of us watchers to fully understand that life is amazing- let us share it and let us rejoice!!!

i know it's banal, but with a fucked up spine and now two dodgy shoulders, every wave is wave of the year. The crew that surf pedro branco(sp) are now showing what truly waves of the year now are. But against body pain and neurosurgeon advice, my straight speed line is a definite eye watcher, so youngy, my switch foot gloved mal mate behind the rock at snapper, think of me when you are shacked or shunted. surgery tomorrow, so swellnet legends, love it for me hey, any safe surf is better than none at all, my stoke lives with you all

If you look at shot 4 in the sequence by itself, it looks like the full old school soul arch claim loving the moment, not the battle for control/survival he was involved in during that drop.
I reckon you could pass that shot 4 off as michael ho at the bay, only thing missing is the big boil going up the face.

Quad fin gun ? all that's in the water on that drop is 4 fins.

brad had no vest on either , craig , i wouldn't think one overshadows the other , we know shane made the wave , as opposed to the single still shot that Stab ran . i must admit i thought it was photoshopped when i first saw it ..... crazytown ....

It just blows me away Domke's skill......towed in and looking over the edge of a 3 storey building....then having to try and control and turn whats basically a piece of ply ,finless and no channels .....I want to see it from the water with my own eyes......no hope of that when its that size !
