Even the most hardcore Greenough groupie would have to admit that go pro leaves his footage for dead. Yep, he was a visionary and a pioneer, but go back and watch Crystal Voyager then tell me that you haven't seen 100 clips with better quality footage.

Barreldogs.. You missed the point. Sure GoPro do a great - as this piece but try to do that in Greenoughs time. He was /is a visionary with movie making and not just surf.

love the footage and angles but I'd still like to see it in real time also.

Technology Blah blah of course it is good. Georges footage at the time was future technology. the footage still leaves a lasting impression. the only difference is size and quality. But it is the same. George recently had tea with Mitchell Rae of Outer Island surfboards talking design. And boy Mitchell has something new only the Die Hard Outer Island surfer of over 25 years will tell you. We only know. And experience better reef performing boards. You wont get anything under a thousand bucks. so if that is too rich for you, you wont have a Star Wars Warp 5 High performance board. With over 40 years Indo experience. Love these barrels but the board is missing the spiritual eyes.

Agree - just my Outer Island last week. If you want the best, then it will cost more.
Mitchell has some great ideas. If you have a bit of time it's recommended you chat with him. You will pick up thoughts and ideas.

Tony I have been riding Mitchells boards for over 25 years and had a few chats with him. I always stick to Guns, Coral Reefers, Performer boards, and have a 8' Super Mal which to me is not a Mal it is for Huge Swells. When you get Mitchell, Alby, and Greenough together something new is surely to come out of it. :) Cheers Mate.
