Can't imagine why this has even been posted - in the realm of go pro footage, this is just plain lame.
yeah true. Would be good to see how big the wave was from another angle. might change your opinion, but the fisheye never does the wave size justice.

Actually, I really like the perspective it gives going over the ledge. Sure, it's not as good as a lot of other GoPro footage but it still offers some insight as to what its like taking off at Chopes (I remember this wave during the event too.. looks much smaller ifrom this angle though!).

Yeah, it was just a big end bowl in and out, and is spat on him during the best bit. Not super deep at all, but the approaching wave and then quick swing and paddle into the ledge looked cool.
It looks cool when slater stands up you can see the shadow of the lip at the bottom of the wave.
