He's not shittin' in his own nest at all , the boys down there are better adjusted, they made a conscious effort to end the inter-territorial angst a long time ago. That decision served them well.

Adams decision to be filmed down here did cause a lot of ( angst, sidethefish ) down this way especially amongst the older crew , his reputation in the eyes of many locals wasnt helped at all by this film or another article he did ,i like Adam and enjoy surfing with him, but as a local i would write him off it happens again and i wouldnt be alone .

What we are trying to avoid like so many places that get exploited by the surf media are the fucking crowds and the circus that follow them . Adam has clips naming places on youtube etc he was selling a dvd with the towns postcode on it for fuck sake Pull a video camera out at Cactus or Portcambell and see what sort of reaction you get , and mate i do travel and have spent time surfing these and many other spots and never got hassled, because i can surf i dont have an agenda , and i give respect to the locals and there enviroment , you should try it But-rider ..
