Can somebody do an interview with RCJ about surfing Nazare, I'd be interested to hear his opinion on surfing that place.
obvious why you need a heavy board on those bumpy liquid mountains...good stuff
What about at 1:30, a guy on... ahem, 'a small one' kicks off the back of his wave, only to look around and have the ultimate OMG surfing moment - that the monster one that's half as big again behind him has already broken and he's has about 3 seconds to prep himself to get mown-down by about 6 stories of whitewater?? Jaw-dropping stuff. Did anyone drown that day?
Freddie he probly has nearly 20 sec cos that the swell period that day
This place is so amazing, the fact that it's so different to other big wave locations exposed to date. The way it forms up, explodes then runs off. The perfection of Jaws is mesmerizing, so to this place at that size I reckon. Awesome stuff!! Just blown away people are prepared to surf it.....
