Made me feel crook in the guts watching that lip land fair on his head. Even he can't see how it's possible to survive.

If you could bottle the courage required to do that you'd be richer than Gina.

My my heart was in my mouth watching Jamies wave and seeing that heavy xxxx section in front of him was scarey, boys got balls and seems to have luck on his side, going to need it though doing shit like that.

Jamie is a madman. Just isn't afraid to go on anything. First that crazy wave at Belharra last year and now this monster. He might make one too one day.

Joking!

Guts effort.

Wow. Amazing skill & courage to get that far on that wave, then chopped in half!! Love his humble description of his flogging, big smile. Classic....

Well done Jamie what an experience!!!!!!Big Wave but someone tell me why some of these guys can't get onto the face further along by taking off pointing down the line, You will get a lot of air underneath but if you are prepared for that and make the drop you will find yourself ahead of that lip that hit him square on the head.??? I don't know every wave at Mavericks seems to make the surfers all want to make the drop first then it seems to beat them before they can even get high in the wall?? Got me bushed. A different approach to the take off maybe ????? Paddle HARDER???? Beats me.I wouldn't surf the place too much effort and 200% guts is needed too crowded in on a wave like this and if I did I don't think I would enjoy it.

"Paddle HARDER". Try telling that to a ten time Molokai winner. Arguably there has never been a better paddler than Jamie Mitchell.

haha ha yeah hilarious ! ' decade of dominance ' a feature film documents jamies 10 molokai paddle victories . would love to see that . anyone seen it , any good ?

How good is being an armchair expert.

Especially when the video is in slow-motion...

Yeah Kerry .....
I'm with you , Jamie clearly needs to get to ' Lincoln and start doing Squats ......
I mean imagine how good a paddler he could be if he was like 110kg and watched alot of NFL videos ....amasing ;-)
