Yep, it's confirmed. Also, if you haven't seen this article by Derek Rielly about Slater on Webber's boards then check it out. Looks like he's holding one in the vid. Shame they don't talk a bit more about specific designs beyond Tomo's.

Agreed I was dying to get some info' on the board he said he rode yesterday, that round tail with the hip in it. Was different looking plan shape.
light on specs...bit on balance and a 5'9, wasn't giving much away. Could talk about parallel rails and shit. Had a look at his board in Fiji 5'9 x 18 1/4 x 2 1/4 rounded pin. 4 fin for barrels, 3 fin for turns. Wish there were 10 Kellys too be good to get some more insights.
Maybe he needs to start breeding then we could have the next gen of Kelly's.
An extra 4-6 inches of board up front is just extra weight........what would that be on a lightly glassed pros board, 4 -6 inches of wafer thin triangle section...an ounce or two ?

Kelly needs a cheyne horan inspired lazer zap with winged keel too . No nose things from mc coy and didnt they critisize him for it ...!
I thought McCoy disapproved of the winged keel as it was not part of the original design. I spotted one the other day, a McCoy with a winged keel,fitted...and yep the criticism, in that case at least, was well justified. The fin I mean, not the board, it was just wrong.
But yet he won bells on one defeating tom carroll in the final . The plastic versions might not work as well as a custom fibreglass made model with the ever so important angle of lift set correctly . That may well be true that geoff disagreed . I found my legrope would catch around both the seagull / boomerang fin & keel at times so they both failed imo at times but found at times great success. Anyway kelly should get a few for bells
