I cringed every time I saw a booger in this clip - as a booger from way back it was hard to watch!!!. Awesome footage though - have surfed Nth Point a few times but never this good!
Why the cringe? One booger dropped in & the rest were burnt. It's all in the editing really.....

North Point is very fickle wave which can have huge lulls between sets. Having 60 guys in the line up and having a 3 wave sets every 15 minutes causes guys to throw the laws of surfing out the window. I heard one bodyboarder say that he caught 9 waves and 8 of them he got burnt on. I guess more publicity this wave gets the more people want to surf it.

Dropping in at north point? No way!what is the world coming to? What do you get when you cross 60 frothers and 20 cameras? Fucking Chaos. Been like that for years and years. Just (some of )the names have changed. Strange how it would seem the more stickers on a board the more the rider thinks he is entitled to have all the waves but i guess that is not a problem shared soley by norths is it? "Just doing my job! how are all these damm free surfers ruining MY shoot" Bring it on , north point and da box are the only waves around there worth surfing boys, fuck all those big fat burger waves, leave em for the jurassic old boys and keep ripping for those cameras. The footage i'd like to see - one of these pretty young stckered riders getting what they deserve - some amateur dental work. Wouldnt it be great to see them burning people again and again and then woopsies i just got my teeth all knocked out. I watched north point for a couple of minutes that day and quickly realised - whatever waves I might have got (probably none) would not have been worth the pain in my hands and the possible assault charge.
