Proving that the surfboard is the better surf craft, even in crazy slabs, as hardly any of the body boarders made it out of the barrel. Most of the surfers did however.
The stand ups were towed into them. The bodyboarders paddled into them. Big difference.

Its not a pointless remark. Who said they didn't put their bodies on the line and what has this got to do with my "remark"? It was a justified observation based on the video. Watch it and tell me how many bodyboarders make the wave compared to the surfers. I didn't cast aspersions onto any of the bodyboarders out there, I was commenting merely on the choice of wave craft. They are clearly all talented chargers. I just feel the surf board is a more sophisticated wave craft which makes it arguably easier to exit barrels. Your remark now seems pretty pointless, no?

I merely pointed out that, based on the video, the surfboard appeared to be a more superior surf craft as those riding them made it out of most of the barrels, whilst the BBers didn't. I wasn't out there no. And I didn't cast aspersions on anyone who was. The BBers were charging as hard as anyone and I didn't suggest otherwise. They appeared to be let down by their choice of surf craft however. Sponger is a slang term for a bodyboarder by the way, which I used to be. You're way off-target directing any of your vitriol toward me and clearly have problems articulating your thoughts. As a result you have to resort to abusive name calling.

The clip showed serious commitment & skill from all. The clip was edited so basing your grand statement on it, I thought, was a remark worthy of a dickhead.
