I'd like to see go-pro footage from start to finish filming a solid beating in real time.

Doubt you'd ever get me out there, pretty to watch though.

I think the reason they never show the hold downs is because someone watching from the comfort of their couch, desk, bed, dunny ect might think "ah yeah I could handle that length of hold down, no worries." But the reality of it is something more than an extended breath hold. Something almost unimaginable. Are the editors being responsible or do they not want to show it to keep the viewers in awe more so instead of thinking " these guys aren't really that special, fit, deserving of a contract, whatever, tow in surfing: anyone can do it" kinda thing, keep the illusion going, keep the sponsors happy?
Anyone?

loading the board onto the ski @ 39 sec .....she's a five finner, hard to see if the 5th fin is a fin, nubster or C-drive sort of shape.
