Yeah he's got a lovely rail game. I've warmed a lot to Julian's surfing over the last few years.

I've long been keen on the bloke - for a while there I really thought he had the mentals to knock Slats off. His power surfing's improved hugely these past coupla years but competitively he's mellowed out big time since hooking up with Ms Osbourne.

I think there may have been some other factors at play as well, whaaaat. He was pretty fired up over questionable judging for a while there, culminating in a last minute loss to Parko when they gave Parko an unrealistically high score to win the heat. He got the shits and stood there in front of crowd and cameras and said something like 'how many are they gonna put him through?' referring to Parko's preferential treatment.

I reckon after he publicly bagged the world champ-elect, he got the word to pull his head in from a few camps. He probably also realised it's not worth getting worked up over something you can't control

I'm guessing from his first name J for Julian and from his last name Wilson as in first letter Dub-yew.
