Hey all that extra Kandui monster swell footage, awesome , I think I also saw some G-land in there too. Now there's a sequel there mate, well done .
Stick to the desert Craig ......
Why? Are you Mad Max? Is the desert where it's at? Does Tina Turner live there? Are sand dunes waves? Do the lizards rip? Is there a desert storm? Does the hypto krypto fly through sanspit tubes? So many questions. So little time.
Clif , watch carefully .
It's not just desert and tropics .
Cheeky fuck went out of bounds in a few spots .
And yes goofy your not cool if your playing it !
I wouldn't worry, Southey. Can't tell what is what and where at most times for all the deliberately shaky retro-enhanced-hipster-orientated footage one has to skip through lest one has an epileptic fit and/or stabs their eyes with leftover shards of their computer monitor after head-butting it to make the godawful music stop.

amazing clip! perfect mix of old school + rad! Wondering how they kept the nokans footage off the internet all this time (with all the other photogs out that day)
True t-diddy. That swell was amazing and there was some great footage around at the time. CA was only shown briefly in that swell, and there were a few commenters saying that they were there and he paddled out on a too-small board and only got a couple of waves and then his board broke and he went in.
Sort of makes a mockery of their comments. He seemed to get a few damned good waves, some of the biggest bombs from that swell based on this clip.
I can't remember exactly what was said in these walls on that topic . ie snapped board / undergunned etc . i know i shot a few down when they said that he was missing from the footage at that time .
I had a mate there and he definitely said that Craig had his share and then some of the waves/ sets on that day . And by the looks of this latest footage , he made more bombs than most .
Those first opening sequences of the NoKan footage terrified me haha.. Like watching footage of people rock climbing without ropes... For me that was some of the most impressive surfing I've seen all year; tiny board on big, fast, critical waves.
Craig was charging Kandui! Looked like some of the bigger waves surfed that day
The beachies looked like maxed out KI.
Is this guy the coolest surfer on the planet? Me thinks soooooooo !!! A pure waterman.
"A pure waterman" ... he ain't no Laird. No-one is cooler than Laird or a more pure waterman. Come to the temple of Laird and repent!
He surfs amazing but sometimes I just can't help thinking he's trying too hard to surf with that relaxed casual style. But fuck some of those waves he got were epic.
Read my mind Goofy. That's exactly what it looks like to me too. But like you suggested, what a hell man in those heavy tropical pits!!!
I've no idea who he is but I thoroughly enjoyed that gentleman's surfing.
Benksi, I don't think we've met, but I thoroughly enjoyed your comment!
Haha cheers mate! Pleased to make your acquaintance.
What a gentlemen.
Lovely style. Smooth as silk.
