That was cool. Love seeing the paddle in to each wave. No drones, no cheesy super slow mo. Nicely done.
Ditto. Loved it. I really like seeing the WHOLE wave from paddling in onwards.
And no stupid arty farty slo mo.
And no bloody drones.
And not all perfect takeoffs. A few botched ones as well. Like a normal sess. Except this one was waaaayyyy bigger and nastier.
Have to chime in on this. Nothing better than actually seeing the paddle in and take off. It gives a much better sense of what it would be like to surf the wave yourself. And then the shots of getting caught up in the lip and over the falls makes it even more real. Thanks Howard!
God Eel. You're like.....real specific with your turn - on's and turn - off's. My God. Relax. I bet you send food back 5 hundred times at a restaurant. I'd look into Ritalin maybe.
Might be an idea to go easy on the blasphemy, tsk, tsk, twice in one post. There are Christians and a few other sensitive types that read these forums....children too.
Great clip, well done. Lot of variety to that wave. Some really ledge up, some it seems you can roll into. Not all of them have that violent step. Sick. Walked in there once (sans board, on honeymoon) it was dead flat but an amazing place to see.
