Definitely the form surfer at Snapper.

And I reckon he beat Julian at Bells in the first round JDub was juiced in that heat.

Zen missed the heat however I reckon they have a different judging criteria at Bells. I wonder if they tell the competitors prior to the event as some of the moves by some of the surfers were awesome however they didn't put the whole wave together as well. Sebass is a case in point.

I wonder what these major sponsors feel when their surfers don't get the results instantly then dump them only to have them taste success further down the track?

Not getting ahead of myself as SK's one result on a CT can't exactly forshadow how the rest of the tour pans out but kinda thinking that soon after Billabong dumped Bede he's consistently finished in the top 10 for quite a few years.

Fairweather friends those sponsors can be.

True Mem, but I'm just basing it on the last two rides of that heat and Stu's wave imo was way better than JDubs only to get a high 5 to Julians low 7 for the win.

But anyway, done and dusted now for this comp.
