Sorry, I was not impressed by this vid. Choppy editing, 2-second shots, etc.
It might be ok for those people whose attention span is limited to a few seconds but for the rest of us please show us surfing, not short MTV video hits.
"Surfing" is the paddle in > takeoff > ride > flick-off/straighten-out/wipeout.
It's not "oh, I'm on the wave, how did I get here, what will I do now, oh my 2 seconds is over".
And if you have to annoy us with a drone, use it to get a different angle, not just the same angle that we get from the cliff!

Wow no wonder the boys at Surf League want to get their hands on this. That is about as good as Winki gets (which is bloody good) no shortage of punters either. Imagine the worlds best tearing into this would be an amazing contest wave. I am really looking forward to Rio now.

this whole debate does my head in, fishos have a similar culture to surfing, look after your spots and all that, yet somehow over recent history fishing has developed an uncountable number of tv shows without blowing every great spot around the country. surfing however has developed very differently with every two bit moron trying to sell out spaces. probably because no one really cares about surfing and never will, so it's stuck on the internet medium with small fries all trying to outdo each other.
