Conner Coffin's heavy-footed highlights - video
Three contests into his maiden CT tour and young Conner Coffin is sitting just outside the top ten. He even spent a few weeks in second position, so all things considered Conner is having a stellar start. There appears little secret in his approach; don't overthink the heat strategy and when it's your time to ride blast the bejeesus out of the wave. It's a distilled version of comp surfing and it's immensely entertaining.
Here's Conner's latest clip, featuring a few waves from home, a few from Hawaii (freefall drop at 1:49 is sublime), and then a few from the road - Snapper, Bells, and Margs.

Absolute animal, couldn't keep my eyes off the buckets being blown off the top.
There was a great surfer named Jeff Hackman. Now we have Conner Hack man. He's one of those guys you could watch all day.
Was plenty to like and at times brutal on his forehand , backhand less so .
