Yeah certainly a great wave - good to see him call in a bloke to share.
Never get tired of J-Bay.
Lovely surfing. Dare I say, a little Curren-esque?
yeah the Curran bottom turn at J Bay ... so graceful.
Really does remind you of Curren. Lots of compression, speed, draws a great line. Worth watching twice, or 3 times.
Some beautiful flow in those long sweeping turns, certainly what I'm thinking of in my surfing, and not achieving.
Wow, didn't the comp miss out. Would have been great to see it run in those conditions.
I'm sure it would help if you got to practice in waves like that though Batfink !?!
free surfing is so much better to watch than most pro surfing IMO
Too true curly. Shitty beach breaks just don't give you much chance to iron out any style and performance kinks. :-)
Good point about free surfing though. The pros desperate need to pull off high performance moves can look ugly. That was much more what I think of surfing, just drawing lines on a canvas.
The boy surfed that as good as anyone.
That's the dream. Awesome.
