Enjoyed that a lot . Especially the 2nd wave .
He looked much more relaxed than when he is surfing in a contest .Busting the fins and going to the air.

Yep, 'ole Ottz seems to stiffen up when competing. Shame. Results would surely come if he could surf more relaxed and less robotic.

Geez, that looks like a fun wave. Reminds me of a similar one up on the Sunny Coast.

Don't know about the "chopes training ground" though ... don't see too many takeoff's at chopes from behind the peak like Ottz was paddling into in that clip. Takeoff's on the peak and subsequent freefall, hope to fuck the fins and rail engage feeling would be similar though ... one that note, I wonder how many times the first wave was repeated during the session?

Great surfing, that wave is probably the closest to Teauphoo on East Coast. Hope Ottz gets a crack with some decent waves for Tahiti.

Just seen your message Blowin sorry. Nah I have been out most of winter with knee injury. But may head to Indo this coming weekend for a hit out in West Java. I think Camel is injured too....haha getting old
