John John Florence // Twelve: Part 4 - video

Stu Nettle (stunet)
Swellnet Dispatch

'View From A Blue Moon' showed John John Florence piloting his own plane to exotic locales, and here we see him captaining his own ship....well, yacht, around the Hawaiian islands. JJF's outward image is that of a beach rat, yet clearly he's broadening his horizons with these extra-curricular activities.

And no, this clip ain't all jibs and spinnakers, the surfing begins around the 4:00 mark with some sublime efforts in the mix. See the late drop to barrel at 6:30 for evidence of this. The only way to take off later is ride the whitewash.

For a song that's been covered a zillion times at least it was different...I didn't mind it.
Surfing is ridiculous as always...

Is this guy a better natural talent than Slater, just without the competitive drive?

Song was hilarious.

Wow he sailed a long way from board shorts on a mal to a wetsuit then back to board shorts.

The bloke should win the world title this year and give competition away for a life of sailing and surfing.

that late take off in the barrel is the jizz.
Seems to be setting up his life rather well.
