Is it me or am I the only one that thinks gangsta rap or hip-hop or whatever that crap music was is diametrically opposed to surfing?

Not a fan of rap music at all.

Isn't it more dub step than anything else?

Is that what you call it?

Great surfing, brliiant locale, nicely shot, God-awful music.

I thought it went well together. Intense music for intense surfing. Could be worse. Could be doofdoof.......

Alright...alright, could be worse.

Could have been that Mad Hueys dance music usually sung by Chip'n'Dale.

Theres two types of music - good and bad...well maybe three - the 3rd being middle of the road. This stuff just ground on me. But not all rap is bad, just like all genres of music. Some have got it and some don't

Would be cool to see more footage of pipe from above with sets just rolling in and breaking - some longer single shot takes.

Over the last decade or so I have gone from turning the J's off when rap came on, to tolerating it but lowering the volume, to now enjoying many tracks and even turning up the dial. I most enjoy our home grown stuff such as the Hoods, Tuka, Drapht and Seth Sentry to name a few. Australian hip hop has come a long way...but I cannot stand that gangsta rap. Sound definitely off for this reel.

Besides the poor excuse for music, at least there is real surfing of the waves, than some clip of aerials, which ''technically" is not really surfing!!!! Also the crowds depict what it really is like....
