Shark attack victim Brett Connellan returns to the surf

Stu Nettle (stunet)

In March last year, Brett Connellan was attacked by a shark while surfing at Bombo Beach near Kiama on the NSW South Coast. Brett survived but suffered severe injuries. Against all odds, Brett has not only recovered from surgery, but is back surfing.

Go Brett - what a legend - to be able to live through trauma like that and revisit its origin and still see yourself growing - all within a year - is beyond fantastic. May the forces of good in the ocean be with you.
