Excellent vision, knowledgeable commentary, no hype, no singlets. Why doesn't this get more exposure?
No endless analysis on every little turn and reverse is nice. Good to just watch the whole beach and set up on a growing swell.
I watched it a bit and most of the time it was footage shot from real far away shot from down the beach, only every few waves they would give a close up shot of the surfing.
Wide/high camera angles showing the full beach as well as the offshore reefs and outside indicators. Beach level camera showing view from the beach and the inshore rip as well as movement of the sand and the reef becoming exposed. Drone replays showing more than one angle for each wave. Heavy pits and local knowledge displayed by the surfers and commentary.
Gave me a new perspective on the place having never actually been there.
And yea no endless fluff, fills, throws or previous footage while someone stalls with priority. Plenty of action.
Pretty well done IMO. I'll be watching tomorrow.
