Unreal. Heard of 'em but never heard them, and it's nuttin' like I expected.
Alternative Tentacles released their first two albums packaged together as 'Our Will Be Done' years back.
The first album is hardcore. Like a lotta stuff of the era. But because of the unhinged-ness of the lead erm, singer, Doc Dart, in both voice, lyrics and deed, well, it's a stand-out.
BUT...the second album (of which this is the literal intro) is THE one. Wisconsin. Actually, it's one of my fave albums.
Strange, melancholic, melodic. And that's just Doc's voice! Absolutely one-of-a-kind in all departments. Check them, and him, out.
