Warm and Lovable - video

Dege O'Connell, Albee Layer, Billy Kemper, and Kai Barger in a down tempo edit from Cloudbreak. These scenes were cut from 'Nervous Laughter', which is no slight on the quality, it's pumping after all, but more a testament to the calibre of footage in 'Nervous Laughter'.

Such a beautiful wave at any size.

Hope the upcoming OK event get a run of swell like this.

Just in case you have been hiding under a rock for the last two weeks zen!

SUNDAY 4th: Stronger 8-12’ faces. Light wind, but more jumbled than Sat.
Swell/Surf: Mid to longer period SW swell builds in further/peaks as shorter to mid period SW also builds through the day, strongest from mid day on.
Wind/Weather: Light ENE wind through the earlier morning, trending to light to moderate N wind in the afternoon.

MONDAY 5th: Continued 8-12’ faces. Light wind early may build from the SE.
Swell/Surf: Sunday’s swell mix trends down as a new, long period SW swell builds in and likely peaks. String surf in the overhead to double overhead range likely continues.
Wind/Weather: Possible light E trades early, with a building trend from the SE later in the day. Stay tuned.

Ignorance is bliss? Right zen...

My pick is for a Owen win with a final against kelly or jjf.

Slater? I thought his immediate future was unsure due to injury?

I haven't been to cloudbreak. How does it compare to surf G-land?

Have surfed at solid 8ft speedies a couple of times and have found it pretty bloody heavy and technical on your backhand. It's difficult to gauge from videos/photos as you don't get to comprehend all that's going on.
I'm assuming you can surf cloudbreak through most of the tide whereas speedies you only have that high tide window.
