Sounds like Gerry is simply talking from experience - how many waves did you pioneer;);) And freerider, please... Purity isn't measured by how much money you may or may not spend - I reckon Gerry certainly got a clearer gauge on that one! Have a read of Gerry's book... The fifth and final Lopez Rule: 'The best surfer in the water is the guy having the most fun.' Contemplate for a moment and pull ya heads in ya sad sacks ;)

God dam seeing the mechanics in the background makes you realise just how bloody expensive this thing must be to run, looks like a train running down the tracks. Webbers looped design looks more feasible for efficiency (not to mention the smaller spin off peaks) but will it prove to be in actual life? Time will tell I guess....
