Watch: Asher Pacey fishing the autobahn

Little bit of crafting has gone into this clip. First half of it featuring a melange of flesh spliced with a cornucopia of surfcraft and Lubricated Goat providing the dirge, the second an extended sand-bottom bank as the syncopated precision of Kraftwerk's 'Autobahn' sets the mood. Wonderful stuff...

The highlight is Asher Pacey's improv flourishes on his five-foot-nothing fish. A style that's sold a thousand boards.

The would have to be the best waves at that place in 10-15 years? Was reading how when kraftwerk first toured the US they only had 5 songs but put on 2 hour shows. 2/3 of the 'show' was them tuning their synths and other strange instruments which were completely out of tune after every song.

He makes those little boards motor in those pristine waves. I wonder how they go in chunkier, non point waves, although Asher is so good he could surf a table and make it look unreal.

I'm surprised no-one is in here with pitchforks.

So many pros with open mouths to feed. If your home break finally starts to fire after years of waiting, roll out the red carpet for this mob with all their documentary gear in tow. If one pro blesses the island with a visit to promote himself then they all gotta do it.
