Teva Dexter swings front side and back at the deceptive perfection of Rifles and Kandui. Two of the best waves in Indonesia, right and left, and separated by just a few kms of land.

I reckon Mr Dexter needs more length or volume in his boards . It just looked like he was pushing water rather than having speed to burn. Speed and acceleration is half the fun but the handbrake seemed on slightly in every move.

Rifles is possibly the best right in the world. Big statement, but it is a ridiculously good wave when it is like it is here and there is another short sharper one called Pistols just next to it. Kandui is much heavier and not too many turns on that one, although apparently once Rifles gets above 5-6' it is deadly, according Kelly Pool (aka Slater).

I agree i think Rifles would have to be contender for the best right in the world, and that is pretty average riffles footage really.

That whole Island area is just perfect, on one side Kandui left, Baby Kandui,

The other side Pistols & Riffles.

Then further in 4 Bobs, A frames, Playgrounds, Malibu Rights.

Always a wave breaking and a wave for every single level of surfer from beginner to the most fearless charger.
