Even before you click aboard, filmmaker Nuno Dias lays out a few clues about what's in store. Obviously there's the title - there ain't no surfing to be seen - and there's also Nuno's description of Empties as a 'short film' - not a clip or edit.

Ol' Nuno's desire is that you slow down, take a few deep breaths, forget all about the balance sheet, weekly report, or uni assignment, whatever it is you're working on, and lose yourself among the plumes of spray and capacious barrels of Nazare.
