I wasn't going to bother watching this one, thinking just another Nias video, but that footage is super high quality and all the footage of locals really made the video.
Yep agree with all of the above. You have to wonder with the waves breaking seemingly everywhere out the back if there might just be a few other waves around the area.
I tried once.... 5-6km walk past the old resort with just booties and a board. Found a picturesque novelty wave, but other than that it's straight onto reef shelf for miles and miles. Epic place!
Yeah followed the back of that coast on a runabout and it looked as you said, reef shories or beachies with the odd lump of random reef but no waves.
