Watch: Whomp Off 2018 highlights
Whomp Off 2018 went off a few weeks back at North Cronulla. With 120 competitors from all around Australia, plus the UK and Hawaii too, it was a damn shame the swell didn't match the level of interest, though it sure didn't dampen the enthusiasm.
Whomp Off is an annual bodysurfing comp that travels around Australia - whoever wins the comp hosts the next competition.
This year it was won by DaFin Hawaii which has left the organisers with a decision to make: Does Whomp Off go international?

Real skill in whomping. I'm not sure if their flippers were all the same size in the run. Refer to the judiciary.

It doesn't matter how you ride waves,as long as you ride em and have fun.The guy in the pink t did the best impersonation of a seal I've ever seen and how funny was that fin relay,what a spectacular finish,GOLD!
