Watch: Jordy Smith // Beyond the Tour - Europe
It's become fashionable amongst pros to drop longer clips. Stand out from the crowd, script a wee narrative, give your material space to breathe. Seabass is doing it, John John, Koa Rothman too, he regularly posts clips 12 -15 minutes long. Of course to do this you've gotta have the material. No point faking it, ten minutes of filler will deflate even the frothiest of groms.
Jordy started doing it but kinda ran out of steam, or material, because this is his fourth 'Beyond the Tour' clip and also his shortest. 5:29, 10:28, 6:30, and now just 3:50 long - a regulation clip by any other name.
Guess there's just not much happening beyond the tour.

With Parko off the tour shortly at least there will still be some nice big power wraps with Jordy! Hope he sneaks a World Title along the way!
Perhaps Jordy, which is pronounced ‘Gary’ in Afrikaans, just doesn’t have that much to say, Stu?

Gary, in the Vicco notes you talk about being really stiff. Reading between the lines it appears that you’ve mixed up your comments. Jordy has obviously been on your mind and has got you a bit hot under the collar.

Gary, having read every article from every issue of Mens’ Health ever published, is very much the thinking man’s Adonis: but you knew that already, didn’t you.
Jordy has clearly taken a few leaves from Gary’s book of extended ogling oneself in the mirror (self published, available online) as demonstrated by all the slow-motion footage of him strutting around in his clips, but that’s where the similarities end.
I love Jordy! Makes me feel intelligent.
He seems a nice guy, hope he wins the title someday and enough prize money to realign his nips
